PACS Analyst
Summary:
Clinical lead within the IT department. Responsible for clinical and technical operations and support of all AMIC clinical applications.

Essential Functions (This list may not include all of the duties assigned):
? Act as an escalation point and Team Lead for the administration and maintenance to Internal Systems such as Dynamic Imaging and ThinAir Data used by the AMIC family of businesses.
? Investigate, develop, and implement programs to aid radiologist efficiency.
? Coordinate Mammo Workflow.
? Overall PACS and RIS Quality control monitoring.
? Liaison between outreach facilities and AMIC radiologists.
? Facilitation and coordination of site modalities and protocols.
? Coordination of client compliance with AMIC quality standards.
? Create and implement project plans for internal and external projects.
? Provide complete and timely project updates to IT Director and CEO.
? Coordinator for AMIC CT & MRI programs.
? Become an expert and point person on all AMIC owned clinical applications.
? Communicate and work with PACS staff at enterprise client locations in the capacity of liaison.
? Be a key member in design, implementation, and maintenance of systems and applications.
? Interacts with internal and external clients to resolve escalated help desk issues and implement projects.
? Comply with all regulatory measures, including but not limited to HIPAA.
? Assist with development of new business and resulting implementation.
? Participate in On-Call rotation providing system support after hours and weekends.

Physical Characteristics Required:
1. Ability to sit 6 – 8 hours per day entering data on PC.
2. Occasional stress during deadline periods.

Job Requirements


Education, training, experience:
Education and Experience:
? 2+ years IT experience in a Radiology Health Care setting.
? Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
? Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
? Ability to travel as needed.
? Ability to work varied hours and take call on a rotating schedule including after hours, weekends, and holidays.
? Excellent problem solving skills.
? Ability to multitask.
? Radiology Clinical expertise required to configure and maintain a PACS and RIS system.
? Strong and creative troubleshooting skills.
? Ability to react and respond to complex situations with a calm and creative approach.
