Description
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for the overall strategy, leadership, and performance of DRI. Responsible for developing and implementing high-level strategies that align with the organization’s mission and overall goals. They work closely with the Board of Directors, providing updates on operational aspects and receiving strategic direction. They work closely with physician leaders and staff to ensure DRI remains financially strong and patient-centered.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic plans which align with DRI’s mission.
Drive service growth, physician engagement, and business development.
Ensure strong financial performance through effective budgeting.
Partner with COO to optimize operations and compliance.
Serve as Board of Directors liaison with timely and transparent updates.
Build relationships with physicians, partners, payers, and the community.
Champion positive organizational culture and staff development.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accrediting requirements.
Evaluate financial performance areas for revenue growth
Leading the development and execution of long-term strategies with the goal of increasing patient satisfaction and financial performance.
Identifying and addressing problems and opportunities for the organization.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes affecting the diagnostic imaging field.
Leading and empowering a high-performing leadership team.
Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications
Education: Master's Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration required or equivalent.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in executive leadership.
Experience working in a freestanding outpatient imaging center is highly preferred.
Must have a proven record of growth and financial improvement.
Experience would typically include successful leadership, strategic planning, operational excellence, entrepreneurial mindset, and profit improvement in a healthcare environment.
Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of healthcare business, reimbursement, healthcare laws, regulations, and medical best practices.
